The Ugly Duckling Review
The L’oreal Infallible lip paint comes in a convenient squeeze tube packaging. Easy to carry and travel-friendly. Comes with a doe-foot applicator. Now, this applicator is nothing special, just like any other applicator. The applicator saturates well with the color and applies smoothly, so not a bad thing at all. Theformula is light-weight and long-lasting. While purchasing I thought this was matte because obviously it says matte, but it isn’t really. This is slightly glossy. It has a slight mousse-like consistency. Starts off glossy but through wear dries down a bit. But does not dry down completely and for that reason definitely transfers onto everything.
The L’Oreal infallible lip paint isreally pigmented and glides on smooth and evenly on the lips. As it claims one stroke is just enough for anopaque finish. The lip paint does not settle into fine lines. As I mentioned earlier does not fully dry so yourlips do not feel dry at all and are very comfortable on the lips. This stays on the lips for about 5 hours after which it fades but still leaves a stain behind. Now, these five hours is when you decide not to eat, drink, kiss or whatever because of this transfers. Touching up is easy so I wouldn’t mind that.
L’Oreal Paris Infallible Lip Paint Matte has a total of 6 shades in the matte range. There are shades of pinks, reds, corals, purples, and nudes in this collection. In this range, I picked the shade “Tangerine vertigo” as I wanted something summery and bright.
Overall I think the L’Oreal Infallible lip paint/matte is a good lipstick if you like any particular shades. Love how comfortable and hydrating it feels on the lips. Though claims to be matte, this is slightly glossy. I don’t mind that since I think I own too many mattes, but still, the claim is not true.
